Arabic Sanabel - Pre-K to 6 - سنابل العربية

The Sanabel Arabic book series is intended for young non-native Arabic speakers. The series includes a wide range of principles, values, and information that all children need in the early years of their lives. The series facilitates learning Arabic for non-native speakers.

• The series presents the content in a sequential manner; the latter lessons depend on the former ones. It provides linguistic experiences using interactive methods and focusing on activities that allow horizontal and vertical expansion in each level in a manner that aligns with students’ levels.
• The series consists of eight books, beginning with kindergarten and ending with sixth grade.
• Each unit includes a listening activity, comprehension questions, discussion prompts, and higher-order thinking questions for critical thinking that align with the unit’s theme.
• Each unit teaches a set of values and principles using the pyramid approach to education and learning, which takes into account students’ ages and mental processing. Students’ current and future learning is built on prior knowledge. It also presents integrated linguistic activities that work alongside the vertical and horizontal curricular mapping for each level and for students’ abilities.
• Each volume includes six units, and each unit consists of two lessons. The content is designed based on students’ values, self-discovery, and connection to reality. The content of each level differs in the concepts, content, linguistic skills, and their application. This enables teachers to easily differentiate the work for different students in the same classroom.
• The unit titles are the same for all levels: Who’s Like Me?, My Morals, My Relationships, My Health and Safety, My Interests, and My Big World. The lesson titles and the content differ. The lessons all tackle ethics, keeping in mind age-appropriate horizontal and vertical planning.
• Each volume includes one listening activity that aligns with the unit’s theme, as well as comprehension questions.
• Each volume includes thought-provoking storyboards to assist students in creating a story that tracks the unit’s theme.
• Each volume includes linguistic exercises for understanding, comprehension, and various skills, such as language, grammar, spelling, and writing skills, according to the students’ levels.
• In volumes 1–3, there are three songs that align with the volumes’ themes.
• Beginning in volume 4, there are three poems that expand on the lessons and include comprehension questions and biographical information about the author.
• Each volume introduces characters and families that present the content and learning experiences in a friendly and approachable manner.
• The names of the characters in each volume are linked to emphasize the skills presented in each of the volumes. Volume 1: Danny and Budur. Volume 2: Adam and Huda. Volume 3: Hassan and Alaa. Volume 4: Sarah and Fouad. Volume 5: Raouf and Raeda. Volume 6: Roua and Luay.

سلسلة سنابل العربية لتعليم اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها هي سلسلة موجهة للأطفال غير الناطقين بالعربية، وهي تشمل مجموعة كبيرة من المبادئ والقيم والمعلومات والمعارف التي يحتاجها أي طفل في بداية حياته، وأعدت لتيسير تعلم اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها.

• تقوم السلسلة على تقديم المحتوى بأسلوب هرمي يعتمد فيه اللاحق على السابق، ويقدم الخبرات اللغوية بالطريقة التوفيقية بأنشطة تسمح بالتوسع الأفقي والعمودي في كل مستوى بما يتناسب وقدرات الطلبة.
• تتألف السلسلة من ثمانية كتب تخدم المستويات من رياض الأطفال إلى الصف السادس.
• يتكون كل مستوى من ست وحدات تعليمية، وكل وحدة تتكون من درسين، بحيث يركز المحتوى على القيم والتدرج من ذات الطالب وواقعه إلى العالم الواسع، وتختلف في العمق والتدرج في المفاهيم والمحتوى ومهارات اللغة والتطبيقات بما يتناسب وكل مستوى، مما يمكن المعلم من مراعاة الفروق الفردية، والتعامل مع أكثر من مستوى في الصف الواحد.
• عناوين الوحدات موحدة في جميع المستويات وهي (مَن مثلي، أخلاقي، علاقاتي، صحتي وسلامتي، اهتماماتي، عالمي الواسع)، وتختلف في عناوين الدروس الفرعية لكل وحدة، وتشترك بالمضمون مع التوسع الأفقي والعمودي في المحتوى بما يناسب المستوى.
• كل وحدة تتضمن قصة استماع تتبع مضمون الوحدة، وأنشطة استيعاب مرافقة.
• كل وحدة تتضمن لوحات محادثة تثير التفكير لتكوين قصة تتبع مضمون الوحدة.
• كل مستوى يتضمن تدريبات لغوية للفهم والاستيعاب والمهارات اللغوية والنحوية والإملائية والكتابية والتعبير بما يناسب المستوى.
• في كل مستوى من المستويات 1-3 ثلاثة أناشيد مفردات ومضمون كل منها يتبع ما سبق وتعلمه.
• في كل مستوى من المستويات 4-6 ثلاثة أناشيد مضمون كل منها يتعلق بما سبق وتعلمه، مع تدريبات عليها وتعريف بحياة الشاعر.
• في كل مستوى أسرة وشخصيات تقدم المحتوى والمواقف التعليمية بأسلوب محبب.
• أسماء شخصيات كل مستوى التي سترافق الطالب مرتبطة بمهارة تم الركيز عليها في المستوى، الأول: داني وبدور، والثاني: آدم وهدى، والثالث:حسّان وآلاء، والرابع: سارة وفؤاد، والخامس: رؤوف ورائدة، والسادس: رؤى ولؤي.
