Sabeel is a collection of educational materials that aims to instill the forgiving spirit of Islam in Muslim children living in the West who study Arabic. This is done by engaging them, through various activities, in the acquisition of the foundations of tawheed and the ethics of Islam from the earliest age, according to their inherent readiness, the characteristics they possess, and their aspirations for themselves. The development of linguistic, sensory, and ideological skills is according to a systematic approach that respects the various phases of the child's physical, mental, and intellectual development.
Sabeel is intended for students 4–16 years old. Students imbibe concepts that are appropriate to their age. It also inspires adults to love the language of the Quran and to abide by the moral principles that their religion calls for and to abandon aggression for peace. From our point of view, Arabic is not only a language used for communication, it is also a a repository of authentic Arab and Islamic heritage, with all its components and characteristics, that guarantees the preservation of identity.
Sabeel is a series of comprehensive didactic tools that combine aesthetics, quality of content, and smoothness of the curriculum for the members of the Muslim communities throughout the world who are keen to explore their identity using a variety of social issues in a variety of cultures, languages, and dialects.
